Whenever I tell people that I am a professional speaker, they have two reactions. Their first reaction is confusion. They don’t really understand what that means, and/or they didn’t realize that was a job. The second reaction is one of disbelief. They say things like, “I could never do that”, or “Speaking in public scares me to death”, and my favorite, “Why would you want to do that?”.
In this episode, I talk about the top three reasons why I LOVE being a professional speaker. I am certain those of you who speak for a living have different reasons, and I am sure I will hear about how I got the list wrong. Yay, social media! But, this is my list.
With that being said, I am curios why YOU speak. I know your list will be different. I would love to know your reasons. And, who knows, I just might feature your responses in an upcoming episode.
